I’m a dayish late for weekly wishes, but I just got back from a week long trip to Wisconsin (15ish hours away) so I don’t feel that bad. Our trip was pretty wonderful, even if it did include several long car rides. We rode a tandem bike, went to the farmers market, and bought some great lunch boxes. We also hiked, kayaked, shopped, slept and spent a lot of time with family. I can’t wait to share the pictures with you all!

Weekly Wishes-August

Review of August wishes:

1.  Start posting my blogging related posts solely on  I want to have my posts on that site with the other pages set to private and then do a big launch for my birthday in September. (Psst. Click here if you want to go ahead and follow Katie Winnderful on Bloglovin to keep up with the latest posts to help you pump up your blog.)

2.  Commit to The Whole 30.  My boss just finished the challenge and lost 12 pounds. I want to use it as a cleanse to kick off living a whole foods diet.  You can tell from my Instagram  that I’m not too great at eating whole foods.

3.  Keep taking daily photos.  This is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.  Carl and I actually pictures together in Wisconsin and it was great.  I might even get bold enough to commit to a 365 photo challenge.

This week’s wishes:

Get ready to start full time! I’m finally moving to full time at my job! A few weeks ago they gave me a pretty nice raise and then recently they offered me a full time position. Which leads me to my next goal….

Find an apartment! We can finally live on our own! We moved in with Carl’s grandmother after the wedding because Carl and I weren’t working full time.  Right after the wedding Carl was moved to full time, so we were just waiting for my opportunity. That time has come and I could cry with joy.  Nothing feels better than knowing you can not only support yourself financially, but plan for future financial goals.

I could write thousands of words about how much joy I have over working full time and finding a new place, but I’ll spare you all.  I’ll just leave my Pinterest here for you and let all my Home boards do the talking.
