March is here!  Not to complain, but I’m happy to see February go.  Not that anything bad happened, it was just a blah month.  I kept feeling like I was getting a lot done, but every time I looked back on my wishes for February I realized I hadn’t accomplished anything.  Oh well. I may not have done much work on my main goals, but I still accomplished a lot (or at least that’s what I’m telling myself).

I might have not achieved many of my personal goals, but I saw lots of accomplishments in February with Something Winnderful.  We launched Love It Forward, and people actually linked up!  (The second one is tomorrow and you have a week to link up!)  The blog also continued to meet my goal of growing by at least 20% in every aspect.  I managed to write a business plan and shared how I tripled my blog views in a month.  I also committed to #100HappyDays and came to terms with my passion not being my career.  Hopefully this month leads to more accomplishments!

March Wishes

FEBRUARY GOALS

  • Continue to put $100+ towards debt and savings.
  • No more fast food.  For real this time.
  • Suck it up and buy a gym membership.  I’m lying to myself when I say I’ll go to my apartment’s gym or workout at home.
  • Get the wedding invitations sent, rehearsal dinner booked, and groomsmen’s suits picked out.
  • Keep growing the blog and get a serious start on a new side project.

I failed at not eating fast food.  Oops.  At least I did manage to get a gym membership through LivingSocial and it has been really great.  I didn’t get the invitations sent, but they are 95% done.  I didn’t book the rehearsal dinner, but I passed the task back to my future mother in law, who’s responsibility it should have been anyways.  I finally don’t have to keep stressing out about it anymore and I already feel better about it.

MARCH GOALS

  • Create a budget and stick to it.
  • Meal plan.  I hate cooking and meal planning, but not doing so is what leads to all my fast food purchases.
  • Go to the gym 3 times a week.  I like going to the gym, so I should be able to do this.
  • Get invitations sent and visit home to meet with various people.  The to do list just never ends.
  • Keep on keeping on with the blog.

      I feel like the invitations are never going to end. Most have been sent out, so I do feel a bit relieved, there are just several last minute invites coming from Carl’s side of the family. I read about your wedding and am so jealous of how laid back it was. If I could go back to the beginning I would insist on a much simpler event than what we’ve got going on.

  • I hate meal planning too. I usually try to keep some healthy leftovers in my fridge. When I’m in a pinch, I can grab that instead of grabbing fast food. Soup, chili, and crockpot meals are GREAT for this!
