Happy Monday! I usually only do weekly wishes at the beginning of the month, but I’ve decided keep with it through June to help me stay on track.  So far things have been so much more relaxed this month in comparison to last, but then again, not getting married or moving will make any month more relaxing.  I wasn’t very specific last week with my goals, so I’m going to be more so today.

Weekly wishes

Last week I made my monthly goals of catching up with clients, complete my website and launch new sponsorship program.  I’m nowhere near completing my website and I’m ever so close to catching up with clients.  I am happy to say I AM ready to launch my new sponsorship program!

This program is different from others in that it focuses on improving your blog and creating a community more so than pushing your content down my followers throats.  That may have been a harsh description, but you get what I’m saying.  I was frustrated with my last sponsorship program because I felt like my sponsors weren’t getting a lot out of it.  Sure they may have gotten a lot of views, but their blogs weren’t improving and they were probably only making friends with me.

So what is this new sponsorship? Well, it includes a 30 sidebar ad, a complete blog review, and a two month membership to the exclusive client Facebook group.  There will also be a sponsor post at the end of the month highlighting how awesome you are and the amazing improvements your blog has made.

With this program you not only get exposure, but the opportunity to learn and grow.  The Facebook community will be a place to continue to learn as well as assist and grow with other bloggers.  You’ll have access to blogging resources and the opportunity to ask any and all blogging questions.  There will only be three spots a month and the offer only lasts until the launch of KatieWinnderful.com, so grab a spot before the program ends.  If you want to learn more about the sponsorship and what past clients have to say, visit my sponsorship page.

With those goals (kinda) out of the way, this is what I’ve got to do this week!

//  Change my name

//  Laundy (never ending)

// More work on Katie Winnderful

// Exercise (so I wont die when I do the Tough Mudder)

//  Get my ring fixed because a lost a THIRD diamond.  (Get it together Zales.)

Not too much right? I’ve never had to change my name before so I’m not really sure what I’m in for.  Also Zales is going to replace my diamond and resize my ring, because apparently my ring should have never been sized as low as it was (4.5).  I don’t know.  Hopefully I’ll stop losing diamonds.  Praise Jesus for lifetime warranties.

What do you have going on this week?

P.S.

I’ve just decided to do a weekly Saturday Linkup where you can share any post you want, all you have to do is comment the blog before you. The goal is to make friends without any demanding rules to follow anyone. Cute and incredibly witty name for this linkup is TBD. Feel free to make suggestions!

  • So glad to have come across your blog through the Weekly Wishes link up! I love the vibe here!
    Hope you get all your goals completed this week!

    • SomethingWinnderful

      Yay! I’m glad you love the vibe, heck I’m glad I’m giving off a vibe at all. Thank you for visiting, here’s to having a productive week!

  • Changing your name isn’t incredibly hard, it just takes a while to complete the process. You have to start with Social Security, which most SS offices are a bit of a zoo. After that everything else is usually smooth, but I recommend making a list of every place you have to change it so that you don’t forget anyone.

      I’ve been hearing it’s not too bad to get everything changed, it’s just way more time consuming than you’d like. Fingers crossed I don’t have any issues. We’ve been working our way through the post wedding to do list and we’ve made pretty good progress. Fortunately we aren’t really trying to rush through it quickly, so it hasn’t been too stressful. Thanks for the support!

  • Good luck with this week’s wishes! I’ve always wanted to do a tough mudder, but haven’t had the opportunity so I look forward to seeing what you’ll write about it. OMG…diamonds and name changes, I feel ya. The same thing kept happening to my ring when I was in Korea and I swore that the kids I taught were sucking them out when we were playing together…like that scene from Robin Hood. Yup, I swear that was what was happening.

      I’m not sure I have too much faith in completely the Tough Mudder just yet. If we don’t start getting serious about training we might just do the USMC Mud Run instead. Both are in October so we’ll see if we can get our act together. Girl. I can’t even begin to understand why my diamonds keep falling out. You’d think I was doing crazy intense stuff all day with how much I lose them. The first time I lost it they asked if I did anything unusual or extra physical and I was just like ‘uhhhh I sit at a desk most of the day.” Here’s to hoping resizing it will help them stay in. If not I get to trade it in for the same set but with bigger diamonds, so either way I guess I can’t complain haha.

  • Good luck with your goals.
    The whole ring situation is awful and I hope they get their act together.
    I feel like I’m always doing laundry too. Hate it!

    Best wishes.

  • I’m getting married soon, so I’ll be going through the same name-change mess. I heard about this website called MissNowMrs.com that pretty much creates all the forms you’ll need for you. I think there’s a small fee to use it, but I’ll probably end up doing something like that just so that I can prevent missing anything important!

    Good luck with your goals this week!

      We have a list of post wedding things we have to do and are slowly making our way through it. The only thing that needed to be done quickly was switch over my insurance to his, but other than that we can take our time with things. Surviving a wedding is tough, I’m just slowly gonna go through the rest of everything. The site sounds uber helpful, I’m interested in how well it works for you! Thank you for stopping by, good luck with the rest of your wedding planning!
