I’m getting married! Ahhhhh!! It still hasn’t sunk in yet.  Actually, that’s a lie.  The moment I started the guest list it really started sinking in.  You really realize you’re planning a wedding when you start the guest list.  There’s that moment of, “oh God we know too many people…you’re family is so huge…how do we invite these people but not invite this person.”  It didn’t take long to realize what I’ve gotten myself into, but I’m just oh so excited!

I want to promise you all one thing, Something Winnderful will not become a wedding blog.  A lot of you out there are not getting married, or already married, or couldn’t give a rat’s badonkadonk about my wedding.  I feel you.  It wasn’t until I realized I wanted to marry Carl that I stopped automatically skipping every wedding blog I came across.  This blog is still going to be about living healthy and happy.  BUT, I’m one of those people who explodes with joy over the little things.

So to keep from imploding from holding in my joy, but for the sake of all of you who don’t care, I’m introducing Wedding Wednesday.  I nice little day for me to share whatever wedding stuff I’m feeling, whether it be the top five things a newly engaged woman doesn’t want to be asked or what floral arrangements I’m loving.  And honestly, I’m not gonna promise this is going to be weekly.  I mean, we’ve got a few months before a wedding actually happens.  That’s just too many weeks of wedding ish.

So since this is more of an introduction as opposed to an actual post, I’ll leave you with a few photos of Carl and I.  Try not to vomit on your keyboard.

  • Well I’m already married, but it doesn’t stop me loving hearing about other people’s nuptials and gawking over gorgeous dresses/flowers/venues! 😉
Looking forward to Wedding Wednesdays – bring ’em on..!

P.S. I hope you will be inviting us all as virtual guests [digs out enormous hat]

Thank you for the congrats, I’m glad you’re excited for Wedding Wednesday! P.S. I finally got a chance to look at your craft post link and they are all adorable! I’m looking forward to DIY a lot of projects for the wedding.

  • Yay! Am so glad you liked my wedding crafts post – it always amazes me how much money these things cost and how much you can save if you get your creative friends and relatives involved (plus in my experience people LOVE being able to contribute towards wedding prep, so don’t forget to delegate!) 😉
