Happy hump day! Sorry I am only just now posting, I usually spend the weekend preparing for the week but this weekend was a doozy! Not only did Carl and I watch the entire Harry Potter series, but I said yes to the dress! Friday night my parents came to visit and on Saturday we began the dress hunt. We were successful! My parents traveled back to Beaufort that night and Carl and I watched the first HP. Sunday afternoon we watched the second….and then the third…and then Carl needed to know what happened next so we stayed up all night watching them. I didn’t have the Deathly Hollows: Part 2, so 9:00 am Monday morning I made a Target run. It was worth it. Carl hadn’t seen (or read) all of Harry Potter so I’m glad he’s now a fan.
As I’ve mentioned before, I was freaking out about dress shopping. I thought I was going to puke before my first appointment. Fortunately for me I was given a fantastic dress consultant to help me out. She somehow managed to understand my likes and dislikes and pulled the perfect dress. Honestly, the dress I thought I wouldn’t want happened to be the one. I left it behind to go to my second appointment but it didn’t take long to know that the other dress was the one. We cut the appointment short and when back to get my dress. I’m so happy and even more relieved.
I would love to share with you all the dress I bought but unfortunately I can’t find it online. That’s ok anyways though because I’m having a few things altered on it, so even if I did find a picture it wont be exactly how it will look. To make up for not having a picture I’m going to share a few pictures to give you the gist. Enjoy!
I hope you think they’re beautiful, I know I sure do! Also, be sure to check back tomorrow. I’m starting another long term series and I’m sure excited about it. It’s most definitely life changing.
Was your wedding dress different from what you always dreamed?
