Hello everyone! Have you realized the year is pretty much halfway over already? If not, I apologize for the punch in the stomach.  So instead of doing a weekly goal list for weekly wishes, I thought it would be nice to see how I’m doing on my new years resolutions.  Honestly, that may not be the best idea because I don’t know how’ve done just yet, so I guess we’ll see how good of an idea this was at the end of the post.

Resolutions update

Life Goals

  • Pay off debt and save our down payment for a house.
  • Get in shape for my wedding/be healthier in general.
  • Get married!
  • Keep a clean house.
  • Simplify.  Everything.
  • Get the business up and running.
  • Spread more love.
  • Take more pictures.

Overall not too bad.  My debt will be paid off next month plus Carl and I got married! I did not get in shape, but I’ve started the process.  Considering we’ve moved out of our apartment and literally everything we have is in a 10 x 15 foot storage unit, I would say we have a clean home that is simplified.  I have moved onto a different business path that is much better than the original.  I however am not taking more pictures.  I would say that thanks to my Love It Forward linkup I am spreading more love.

Blog Goals

  • Grow my readership by 20% each month.
  • Post a minimun of 4 times a week.
  • Invest in my blog (classes, sponsorships, ect.).
  • Comment and tweet other bloggers regularly.
  • Offer sponsorships.
  • Make more blogging friends!

In January my blog views tripled from the previous month and was double the highest month I had in 2013.  As of this month my views are close to triple what they were in January and close to five times higher than they were last year.  My social media has also doubled.  I invested in my blog (new theme, sponsoring and one e-course), started a pretty baller sponsorship program (that you most definitely want to check out) and am working on my side business to help other bloggers grow their blogs and social media.  I now host two link ups (Love It Forward and Social Saturday).

Overall I would say this year has been a success! It definitely hasn’t been easy and it’s most certainly had its rough patches.  Even with the sad times I can look back on this year fondly. My favorite part of this year is definitely marrying Carl.  I mean, how could it not be? I’m incredibly pumped to keep working towards my goals and keep on having adventures with Carl.  All in all it hasn’t been too depressing looking back over my goals!

How are your new years resolutions looking?

  • Just stopping by from weekly wishes!! I have some of the same goals for the year! I’m planning for my wedding, but I’m just not that into it. Haha I’m excited to read about your wedding! Congrats.

  • Yah for doing so well on yours! I’ll admit, this is the first year that I’ve not done resolutions ever but I’m pretty happy with how this year has gone so it’s better than I could have asked for! 🙂

  • Omg, I am so jealous that you are slaying the debt monster so WAY TO GO! I also think you’re doing a bang up job on your blog goals, so just keep moving forward because you are rocking it!
