It’s pretty clear the Sarbacker household hasn’t been the healthiest it’s ever been since the start of the year. While Carl’s kidney issue has definitely been needing the most attention, I too have been sick. I’ve had a stomach virus, several migraines and a persistent cold/flu that has been coming and going. With the time off I’ve taken to care for Carl, I can’t lose anymore to annoying illnesses.
I have a confession. Remember how I got a gym membership and took that spin class of death? That was actually my second day of going to the gym. The first day I only made it to the parking lot. I parked, saw just how many cars were there, then got really nervous so I went home…
I was convinced everyone was going to stare at me and judge me because I clearly wouldn’t know what I was doing.
Happy Friday everyone! Today I’m guest posting over on Beyoutiful Beauty as part of Jessica’s week of body confidence and acceptance series. Head on over to her blog and read my post for today, as well as all the other great guest posts she’s had this week.
Since we’ve moved, a lot of things in our daily lives have improved. I can walk around pantsless. I can leave trash everywhere (though I clean before bed every night). I can fill the fridge with whatever I want. I can also settle into a new morning routine. I gotta say, as awesome as all those things are, having a new morning routine has been fabulous.
Are you happy? It’s a pretty simple yes or no question. But what if I asked what made you happy today? Would it take more time for you to find your answer? The truth of the matter is, life is hard. Every day is packed full of rainclouds and rainbows fighting to define your day. One moment life is perfect and the next you realize you forgot that super important task you were supposed to do.
