I’ve been keeping a secret from you all. I’ve been working behind the scenes on an exciting new project. I had an idea last year that I thought would be so cool if I could pull it off. But considering last year I got married, switched jobs, moved three times, dealt with depression all while failing at setting up my second blog, it just wasn’t something to worry about. Life certainly hasn’t slowed down for us, but we’ve finally reached a kidney stone and depression free place and it’s left us feeling inspired and motivated to finally reach for those goals that have been running through our minds.

With that said, I’m incredibly excited to announce…

Sprout + Co. // The stylishly eco friendly magazine from Something Winnderful. Dedicated to representing the women interested in living happy, healthy and green lives.Sprout + Co. (Sprout and Co.) is a quarterly magazine for the modern woman wanting to live a happy, healthy, eco-friendly and driven life. It will feature articles not only written by me, but amazing bloggers such as yourself. I wanted to create this magazine as an opportunity to dive deeper on certain topics and to collaborate with other bloggers.

I created Something Winnderful as a place to document my life and its goals, and over time those goals have been to be healthy, be creative, and do my part to keep our Earth clean and taken care of. I believe there are many women out there who are seeking their own versions of that type of life. So many of you are interested in eating healthier, creating wonderful projects and having less of an impact on the environment. We may not be interested in living off the grid in a cabin in the woods, but we want to live an amazing life that means something.

So what type of content will be in Sprout + Co? Here’s a sneak peak at a few articles being written:

Minimalist + Green

  • Tiny House Living by Paige of Moments For The Journey
  • Capsule Wardrobe How-Two
    • (Printable/Worksheet Included)

Beauty + Style

  • 10 Organic & Animal-Friendly Beauty Products
  • 5 Companies That Give

Food + Health

  • Pharmaceuticals vs. Natural Living (interview with a earthy pharmacist)
  • Flourless Brownies by Katie of The Hungry Goat
  • Starting a Whole 30 by Kristin of My Year In The Making
  • What Do Those Numbers On Produce Mean?
    • (Printable Included)

Creativity + Inspiration

  • 50 Things To Do This Weekend Besides Watching TV
  • 50 Ways To Give Back Without Giving Money

See anything interesting? I hope so! I’d love to hear what content you’d like to read and any topics you’d like to hear about! Also, if you’re interested in writing for Sprout + Co, leave a comment or send me and email. At the moment, I cannot pay to contributed articles, but I do I see this as growing into an opportunity to pay for contributors and staff writers.
