It’s April! It’s Carl’s birth month, though due to all the nursing school stress, he’s not reminding me on a daily basis as usual. This month we have a few lovely things to focus on besides nursing school and working our butts off to pay bills. I want to get back to the monthly goals/review because I’ve enjoyed looking back at past ones and seeing what we did/accomplished (or failed). So here’s the agenda for April.

You might have noticed Something Winnderful has been MIA.

I mean, there hasn’t been a blog post published since October. There are plenty of reasons to explain why I didn’t post, but really it boils down to just not wanting to. That sounds pretty depressing, but really it’s a great thing. Blogging takes so much time that it keeps you from actually getting out and doing stuff. Hey there! Posting has dwindled down since we moved into our new house, so I thought it would be good to touch base. I wanted to share what’s been happening and what will be happening.

We’ve settled into our house

It took longer than I expected to get completely moved into the house. We closed on July 15th and our lease lasted until August 3rd. We definitely needed all of that time to move.

Sometimes you just have to take a month off of blogging. Though if I look back at my past years of blogging, it’s looking like I do it once a year. They (whatever blog gods make up the rules) are right when they say you have to make time for life or you won’t have anything to blog about.
